about me

       When I was 6 years old I recieved encouragement from my parents to pursue art. I am not trained in art but I am well practiced!! Both my parents are exceptional artists. My mom is a free spirit and draws with a loose hand, she is adventurous and daring, impulsive and passionate. My father is extremely logical and patient, excellent with anything mechanical or technical, he is well versed in perspective drawing. My parents taught me and gifted me with everything I know.
 

      I started doing portraits in grade 5. I took it upon myself to draw everyone in my classroom, I put the girl version of each person on one side of a paper, then the boy version on them on the other. It was a huge hit and our teacher allowed us to hang them above our desks from the ceiling using a paperclip and string. This propelled me into portraiture.


       Besides my love for drawing people I also really enjoy sketching landscapes and experimenting with paint. I do not consider myself a comic artist by any means, however, I think illustrating the moments in life, especially the ones when no one is around, is a great way to connect to others in a process that lets me be me.


       Over the years I have become rather over ambitious with my art, it has been good and bad, I have a thicker wallet, but a few failed websites and art shows. I reached out for the stars but I lost my footing and fell hard. I'm back up tho, dusting myself off, getting my stretch on and reaching out again, this time I am not stopping until I burn my hand on flaming star gas.
