September 28th, bored between classes

i have a lot of time to kill on mondays so i thought i would try and do an ink sketch of the parking lot looking out onto the student res...it turned out a little more complex and scrambled looking then i'd hope but it reminds me of the works of stephen wiltshire...not that i could ever compare my work to his but check him out, he is a phenomanal artist and if u have yet heard about him make sure to read his biography too (its on the website) because his story is incredible.

    Really cool sketch, Kat. I'll have to check out that Wiltshire guy later. I really like the fact that you did it in a spiral notebook, too; kinda gives it a real loose, relaxed sorta feel. Nice!

    By the way, if you weren't aware, I noticed in my blogroll that I'm still Following your site but it says there's no feed. The URL is correct and, honestly, I don't mind checking every day or so. I thought you might wanna know that Blogger isn't sending your feed to your other Followers, too (or maybe it's just me).

    Beautiful sketch. The notebook really seems to become an integral part of the composition. But I'm a sucker for that kind of thing - people are always asking me why I do some of my best sketches on the back of old envelopes and old bills.
